There are many areas to this topic and most often assume that it relates to seeing a care provider when a problem is painful or serious. If you have a serious health issue, then you should consult a care provider. There are other modalities of healing besides Allopathic medicine, such as Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and Naturopathic medicine to consider, along with lifestyle choices pertaining to materials, chemicals, products, services, technology, people, places, and energies.
My focus is on preventative methods, of becoming conscious about what you do or don't do that has the potential for creating problems that can cause effects on your health & wellness. The idea is to be conscious of the "beginnings" of a problem. If not taken care of they can create injuries or unhealthy conditions that can become serious over the years. These areas are often ignored due to lack of awareness and information until they become serious. We live in a culture that is not interested in functionality because the focus is on money.
There's no big profits to be had if you are vibrantly healthy and aware of how to take care of your own self. Not to mention that dysfunction is the rage and most of what we conform to culturally has little to do with health & wellness. Your emotional wellness is directly related to your mental wellness, so becoming conscious is crucial to healing and maintaining your health and wellness at optimal levels of function. Being healthy in body, mind, soul, and spirit allows an individual to continue enjoying themselves as they age. The choices you make dictate your future health and wellness.
I've listed important areas that each person needs to be aware of to ensure optimum health & wellness. There are things you can do to prevent and or alleviate minor or serious pain and suffering relating to your:
Eyesight - Did you know there are proven methods to improve your eye sight?
Hearing - Making your hearing last your whole life should be a serious priority.
Feet - Choosing appropriate footwear can prevent pain from the feet up to the top of your head.
Body - Learning to be present in the body to undo all the energetic knots that stifle full soul expression.
Skin - This sense organ can be an early warning sign to problems and an ally in other ways.
Ergonomics - Learn how to prevent injuries and especially repetitive injuries.
Indoor Lighting - Become aware of the benefits of full-spectrum lighting.
Water - Clean water is like gold to the body, essential for many processes for wellness.
Foods - Food is medicine and the fundamental tool for correcting imbalance and building health.
Herbs - Plants are medicine and another fundamental tool for healing and preventative benefits.
Diets - There are natural ways of losing weight, and key to letting go of weight is mental awareness.
Smoking - Nicotine offers short term benefits, but suppressing awareness is not an authentic benefit
Prescription Drugs - Side effects of these cause serious problems and death. There are safer alternatives
Chemicals - Most of them are destructive to your health and wellness, and wreak havoc on the environment
Sleep - Healthy sleep habits are essential for maintaining health and wellness.
Senses - Humans have 53+ senses. Being tuned into them offers greater awareness in your environment.
Feelings - Learn how to be aware of them to make better choices to navigate through life effortlessly.
