Past and future tripping should be on top of the list as a complete distraction from presence!

Genetically Engineered Trees???

Why would people risk destroying their own environment with GMO's. Well humanity has been polluting the very air, water, and soil it is dependent on for a long time and it is to simple to say they are ignorant, rather it is a death wish, driven by living in the dysfunctional fractionated mind of delusional fantasy. The more fantasy, the further away from home, further into darkness, starving itself of spiritual connection for the sake of THINGS. Like money is going to quench that spiritual itch, that thirst, that completeness. This is what insanity looks like, not the artificially created marketing and advertising schemes the delusional mind creates salivating over more THINGS. The rubber band can only be stretched so far until it snaps back to reality.

A letter I've sent to the White House and my senators and representative:

The crux of Monsanto's and other GMO corporate domination and absolute monopoly is using GMO's as a biological weapon to biologically contaminate others food crops on private properties, then sue them, and financially ruin them and put them out of the competing markets. What makes it insidious is the judicial system and our federal governing officials supporting it. I consider that insanity and it has nothing to do with free market enterprise whatsoever.

You can say that Monsanto and others like them are clearing the competition, clearing the way to absolute control over the food supply; to own it lock stock and barrel. Cross pollination guarantees spreading their GMO seeds anywhere the wind blows and they don't have to do anything except allow the wind to let them get carried away with biological contamination. What a quaint arrangement to invade someone else's private property and legally get away with putting them out of business. This is also what is behind the big push to get other countries contaminated; Absolute control. And if those countries won’t be obedient, then create secret trade deals to imprison them into compliance. What a great scheme to use funds from the State Department to push GMO seeds worldwide. This is as much a Ponzi scheme as any other.

This is the face of the Agricultural corporate raiders. See it for what it is as a business model to obliterate the competition and healthy organic food. With GMO's you have no guarantee you won't have health problems later on down the road, and the government has given them a legal law to not be held responsible for their biological contamination. We the people do know that foods created by nature are safe to consume as they come from divine nature not corrupted by human nature who live in their delusional heads. You and your administration's support of this monopolization with the support of the judicial system is indicative of the mockery of the organic garden at the White House, while you continue to give the green light to the USDA, FDA, and the judicial system for corporate democracy at its best. The hypocrisy is no better or worse than past corporate presidents, Senate, and House of Representatives. The whole system is a complete mockery of democracy and justice.

We think based on the past; our memories can only be past oriented; that which has passed away. We have no awareness that we live in the past, because KNOWING can only create an illusion rooted in the past. We think we are here now, but we’re always in the past, because we base our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world based on our BELIEFS; the past. Therefore we live in the past. One cannot be present to now, because now requires us to let go of the past in order to enter the unknowable.  This is what curiosity is for and which children excel at. They don’t assume to know because they don’t.

There are no two moments alike, except when humans keep creating the future from the past. One cannot figure out what is going to happen next moment, because it doesn’t exist in the past. The mind will become uncomfortable with being found out for its past errors. Realize the mind’s discomfort arises from being caught by awareness, at seeking to pull one back out of the present moment of now into the past; which only exists in memory. Your choice, should you be have the awareness to choose, is to continue holding onto the past and of a future created from the past or let go and experience the fresh, aliveness of BEING present here and now without any past stories or past fueled future trips rooted in memories from the corners of your mind.

To fantasize and imagine, that what we know from the past is going to be exactly the same in the future, eliminates any possibility of being completely free to be able to experience the gift of presence right now. To be curious about life requires letting go of what you know. It’s nice to have wisdom from the past, but to BELIEVE that past wisdom supersedes the living grace of divine presence is insanity.

Until you become like children…

Julia Cameron posted this quote to her Facebook site:

"Children have an inherent curiosity; as parents, our job is to trust and encourage them to follow their imaginings, wherever they may lead."

          - Julia Cameron

My response to her post:

Most parents can't even follow their own. How are they going to follow their children's lead? There will need to be a humungous archaeology dig to unearth what has been buried in thought echoing back way into the far known distant past.

Remember the band Talking Heads. They hit the nail right on the HEAD regarding humanities conditional love affair with living in the HEAD.

The Capture and Training of Elephants

Children are trained in basically the same way. Born of spirit, from spirit, they are captured, imprisoned, trained, punished, rewarded with nonsense with no hope of freedom except living in the head like their masters. Is it any wonder the world is insane? This is not something someone is going to understand in the trance of intellectual knowing.

Kellogg's has an exciting new deal with the least sustainable corporation in the world

The irony of Kellogg's using a tiger icon for their products while supporting the slaughter of the remaining wild ones is not lost on me. Seems to me corporate america and governance in general at all levels would rather get rid of the real world to ensure everyone lives in a fantasy world of make believe within complete artificiality...

We are separated from our authentic self by the past; logged off of our spiritual network so to speak. Logging back on requires the password and that password is presence; non-verbal, non-conceptual orientation right here and now. When we do that, we login and have access to what we are; truth; love; compassion; joy; awareness; Oneness. We are that and learning to stop reacting to the propaganda of the mind reveals the path to the portal to login with our presence. When we are this, rather than doing this, we meld in unity with our divinity. This requires no thinking, no believing, no conceptualizing, no reacting, no-thing.

The mind will convince you otherwise, seeking to swap the real thing for the ultimate forgery of dazzling delusion. Always your choice in each moment. This is ultimately what meditation is for. One might call it prayer, silent prayer without needing to ask for anything because each of us is everything beyond the mind. One might call it presence or awareness or now or stillness or silence, but ultimately their are no words to describe what the actual experience is, because when you do, you will realize there are no concepts for this experience beyond belief.

Here's an interesting test that author Malcolm Gladwell discussed in his book Blink, regarding our implicit associations about race, gender, sexual orientation, and other topics! Excellent book and test. For those of you who THINK you KNOW yourself...

"We must do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian-Darwinian theory, he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living." - Buckminster Fuller

This guy was light years beyond the many of his time. How many today are hiding their authentic Being THINKING they aren't like that. It's intellectual nonsense and you KNOW it is, while pretending to be small and insignificant going around imprisoned in those limiting beliefs categorized under social delusions. Waking up is the only antidote.

The first priority should be to take care of the child that has already been born into the insanity of the adult world living in heads full of delusions/fears.

Perhaps one can delude themselves by looking elsewhere for distractions in order to maintain the monopoly of thinking to avoid awareness of the significant issues presenting all of us on planet Earth at this time. Unfortunately, that sort of head in the sand sort of nonsense doesn't do anything to usher in the awareness to rectify the situation from the whole truth versus the selective reasoning done in the name of profit, grandiosity, righteousness,  arrogance, pride or dysfunction, all of which are completely worthless in the bigger scheme of the whole truth.

"People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive."

          - Joseph Campbell - "The Power of Myth"

I watched that series in my early 20's and recall how revelatory it was, but the funny thing is after it was over, I went right back out into the world of distraction and delusion and got lost! The next time I explored this was in junior college in a class entitled Cultural Anthropology, where I had some great wake up calls and one vision one day. Working on my B.A. @ Fairhaven College offered some incredible explorations into many related topics from both an academic intellectual approach and experiential body, mind, spirit approach.

After finishing my M.A. class work in Creation Spirituality, I went back to work and pay off student loans. Eventually the opportunity to not work arose and that time was wonderful for assimilating, synthesizing, transforming, integrating, realizing my body, mind, and spirit. The next three years were really intense, difficult, challenging, and to be honest, cleansing, rejuvenating, insightful, sobering, aweing, leaving the mind scrambling around to keep the prison walls from crumbling as there were and are. Each step lead me to people, places, and things like self-learning, rather than mass media or other external influences.

At this point, enough mind quakes had occurred to shift awareness out of touch with believing enough to free my myself to more presence At the time it didn't seem so big as it was just realizing taking over, accepting, letting go, and moving on. I was fortunate to work outdoors around nature settings and that really healed and integrated all that was going on. I also began to become more aware to actually grow oars for my row boat that was in the middle of nowhere to begin a different kind of navigating through awareness. I had lots of incredible experiences and interactions with animals, birds, hornets, bees, and others that taught me a great deal about my own inner nature; both One and the same ironically.

It wasn't long after all this that I got The Power of Myth from the library and was quite shocked at just how profound his series was. The truth of what he was discussing was right there in front of my face, full audio/video and it was like I was asleep for most of it if you will. The realization of that was not lost on me, because it is really difficult to wake up. The learning is the easy part, because it's all truth. The difficulty is to be present enough, to silence the mind so as to be aware of the truth. It is like standing in front of a big bulldozer and trying to stop its forward movement; same thing. It's like being in a hypnotic trance and being pulled towards something; it's like trying to walk against a crowd of 10,000 people; it's an onslaught; might as well give up and go with the flow. That is the power of thought, but only if you believe it to be so. That's the key, the clincher, the REASON.

The second one stops resisting what is, then peace arises, because resistance can only arise from listening and BELIEVING the stories the mind is telling. In any situation, no matter how difficult the situation, it is the mind that creates the stories that create the difficulty making it all the more worse than it is. Whether that is a divorce, losing one's job, an injury or death of a loved one, car breaking down, not being loved or being criticized by others, all are reduced to just events occurring that will eventually pass. Our participation in those unfolding events embrace what we are co-creating with others.

This may seem really absurd to the many, but one needs to realize that the choices one continually makes in each moment create either harmony or disharmony. The choices we make are based on what we believe, what we THINK we KNOW. The beliefs, as I've said before and will continue to say, are nothing more than a rigid structure of beliefs that imprison one from the whole truth. Truth always frees one from pain and suffering; nothing less will do the trick. I recall being in a very difficult situation several years back where there was absolutely nothing I could do. The minute I surrendered to the situation, went along with those who were dominating and controlling the situation, the fear of being harmed disappeared. I was left with just being present with what was and while I had to go along with the program, there were no stories being told in accepting the situation. I faced the difficulty and just observed what was transpiring without judgment and survived the situation authentically.

Our mind's stories are the only thing creating the mental pain and suffering. Physical pain is something else, yet even then the mind only adds more to the physical pain by its incessant resistance to what is, the not wanting pain, not wanting the situation, wanting something different, the mind weaving future trips rather than being present in the moment. One may be dying, freaking out about dying, wanting to live, but the fact is death is approaching, with no ifs and buts. One can embrace the experience to explore what is there or put up such a resistance that truth cannot penetrate your closed mind. In truth, the mind is not wanting to die, resisting the truth that ultimately it is going to dissolve into the nothingness that it truly is. The mind is like watching a horror movie that is totally frightening that suddenly stops playing and one is left with the realization it is just a movie that was making them frightened; it wasn't real. Stories are the same thing, they are not the actual truth of the moment, yet we BELIEVE the stories are the truth rather than realizing they are just STORIES.

One can accept the truth because it comes back to what I said before about accepting ourselves, because we are all One integrated whole. There is nothing that you are not, that which is judged externally is that which is judged internally first. Everything in the world is a reflection of your being regardless of what the mind's stories may whip up. The only way one is going to realize the whole truth is to surrender the judgments, the thinking, and the believing to enter paradise; truth. What one surrenders to is being authentic and the effortlessness of the living truth.

When one lets go where that resistance is as quickly and as often as possible, you will find yourself in a different world, because the mind begins to rest after telling all those stories all the time. There's an appearance of all of life, untainted, and untarnished from thought or belief. The truth will set you free because then one is present to the fullness of awareness that always guides the way in truth. Truth is the only possibly outcome for alleviating the debilitating crippling ability of stories to create pain and suffering. One begins to realize how these stories affect your ability to be present with awareness and truth.

One may be in a job they hate and suddenly realize that their attitude, their resistance, their judgments are what are making the job unbearable. That doesn't mean stay in a job that is not enjoyable. What it does mean is getting really present with the truth and see with awareness the real truth of the situation. An old family pattern may reveal itself and in most cases this is quite true. The mind's patterns of conforming to others beliefs rather than one's nourishing inner truth is what creates the difficulty. The complaining, the criticizing, the judging of what is and the expectation of what you want is the root of the problem.

The mind cannot comprehend that it is the root of the problem because it is just a processor of information coming up with various stories of the truth based on the conceptualized memories in the mind's database. The stories are our contrived identity, but they can never be our authentic truth of being. Form is just form unfolding along lines of beliefs, but truth is the presence of divinity in each moment, the grace of a situation, dancing with creative possibilities that don't need to be thought about because one cannot know the unfolding truth. One can only be present to experience the truth as it presents itself and this is why presence is so priceless in its completeness.

What is known is what has worked in the past, yet it may not work in the future, because the unfolding now requires adaptability, flexibility, and curiosity to explore the truth of the matter which may require one to BE creative or BE inspired to dance with the unknown. Nobody knows what is going to happen in the future ever. The many are caught up in their programmed minds thinking they know how to prevent pain and suffering, but the only thing that can be created from knowing is pain and suffering, because it takes one out of presence into past/future tripping, wanting what was or what could be. See this for what it is, an attempt to deny reality and create a false reality. Is it any wonder the many are constantly seeking some person, place, or thing to pacify the gnawing incessant demands of the stories?

Knowing is ultimately blindness and while it is certainly a creative act, it is not the fullness of creations ultimate truth. One is not going to realize this through thinking, rather it will arise when there is a lull, a gap, an opening in the imprisoning flow of thinking one knows what is going on in any given moment. What you think is going on is merely what you know from the past; that's all it is, a story about what was back then. Nothing is ever the same; sameness is akin to death, the production of delusions to pacify wants and desires to maintain one's fictitious identity of separation.

No thinking is going to reveal the truth to you. Only presence and surrender can do that; the allowance drops the assumptions for the real thing. When the many begin to allow themselves to surrender to the moment, they will be surprised at what begins to reveal itself; realizations; truth; awareness. One begins to realize that while it is unknown, the truth actually is the balm that soothes, that the stories were the agitation, the affliction, the dis-ease. In general, people will resist this in advance, coming up with all sorts of future rationalizations as to why it won't work or it's not true; all the mind's attempt to maintain control and domination with its deluded stories of conformity.

That's all stories have ever been and can ever be. The fullness of real life is the only cure, the only way, the only truth worth having/being. Try it; you may realize how worthless the stories really are. If not you get to continue living out the hand me downs of generations of stories of quite desperation; obedience; conformity; prison.

The only truth worth having is being in the flow of life, being present to the exhilarating pulse of the whole truth creating the abundance that life always has the unlimited potential to be. Life when listened to is effortless because its the truth. To really avoid the truth is a monumental mental process of immense struggle, pain, and suffering. Life is like a river flowing. When one stays in the flow, one is in a state of effortlessness. When one seeks to hold onto the river bank like the many do, then there is a resistance to that immense creative flow; one could call it a writer's or artist's block; a creative block; one seeking to accept crumbs rather than the whole loaf of bread that life offers. The crumbs are the stories, are the river bank.

If you observe small children, you see that for the most part they are completely present and in rapture. This is because they don't have judgments about what is until they are taught and conditioned out of it. They have a curiosity essential for being open to life, and this curiosity is what awareness is without all the mental road blocks telling you what the truth is. One needs to have an appreciation of the unknowable and unfathomable if one is going to be free of mental pain and suffering. To be in wonder is to be in the presence of divine creation unfolding in truth.

One has the choice of creating a world from the whole truth or from stories passed down that limit truth; awareness or unawareness is the choice in each moment.

Always your choice!

It is only the mind that believes in security. True freedom is not believing the truth but being the truth in every unfolding moment.

The mind masquerading as the heart has no basis in true reality. One either thinks they know this or that and it is enough to pacify the insanity of believing, suckling on one thought after another to weave webs of beliefs to ensnare the many in the sanctity of the judgments of delusion.

8-18-13 -

“Some people die at 25 and aren't buried until 75.”

          - Benjamin Franklin

8-23-13 -

Scientists say nerves use sound, not electricity

From a consciousness perspective, this is quite interesting, specifically if one perceives all matter as magnetic energy at the quantum level of all of existence, that there truly is no complete solidity, and in reality, immense endless space filled with cosmic dust that magically comes into form in ways the many are unaware of; Sound, Word, sound, quantum creation in motion; One vibe, One vibration, Om never ending, oscillating in no time at all.

With patience and awareness, one can perceive this sound as inner silence, a stillness that has OM; One wave One particle as One pulsing rhythm of authenticity, simplicity implicit for eternity. Your life, your physical/mental life is habituated patterns of conforming to your beliefs. Your beliefs are the software programming of your enculturation, your adhering to the rules of engagement to escape the wrath of others inflicted and addicted to thinking and doing.

Those patterns define you, shape you, conform you to the limitless ideologies and judgments of others in all ways. Become aware of one of those suffocating patterns, and one begins a process of transforming, of melting away the immense constriction of life. Ultimately it is just one tension. Since we are all One, it is all one tension. One can feel this tension, this tug of war between holding on or letting go.

One might experience this in the head chakra, throat chakra heart chakra, stomach chakra, belly chakra or root chakra. They can be expansive, buoyant, in a spherical shape, yet not necessarily completely spherical in form, but a constantly moving expression of shape/form. This form has the movement of an amoeba or a whale in the ocean or any other dimensional organic life-form.

This form is intelligent and one really has very little need to think ad nauseum for truth, because the truth is right there, dead center infinitely graced with complete acceptance of the living truth; wave-particle is the Tao, the way, the movement, the endless vibration of quantum sound. They may not crash on the shores like oceans do, but the expression has more in common than one would like to THINK.

Everyone KNOWS the truth of love and hate, pretty obvious, yet the many sure do cling to the IDEAS of pain and suffering. Wouldn't one say that is rather absurd, irrelevant, ridiculous to KNOW the difference and completely ignore the truth of it?! There lies the problem of how thinking allows one to avoid the living truth; kind of like having someone talking non-stop at you to drown you out while you are trying to tell them something important. This is what we allow our thinking to do to our awareness and it's insanity.

Love is a visceral harmonic fluidity unknown by many. One can be love and realize love simultaneously and be held by its unknown essence. There is only one REASON to KNOW love and that is to AVOID LOVE. Realizing has no need to know, it's just the awareness and realization of the presence of love.
