I found this quote overlaying an image of an old unused railroad track going off into the distance and disappearing around a curve. There's weeds over growing the tracks a bit, giving it a definite feeling of not having been used in some time. Reminded me of how the many have these same tracks heading within their own interior and they are unused, with weeds beginning to cover the tracks. In some cases I am sure some have entire forests blocking out the tracks. But, never fear, even the most densest forests are navigable to those who finally overcome their fear of the unknown to embark on the quest.

I found this quote while doing a search on Google for a Julian calendar:

Tonight was the first art gallery walk here in Bellingham, WA. There was quite the turn out by various age groups. I also had some interesting encounters with a few people as well. Met this guy from Peru named Wari Zárate. He introduced himself, and then noticed my computer, wanted to show me his artwork on-line. His art really resonated with me on many levels, especially the spiritual level. He brings his artwork to the U.S. to show, and also goes around to the various colleges and universities to talk to people, most of them indigenous, about creativity and such. I wish I knew Spanish to talk to him about art and spirit, for I got the sense that we would have had much to share with each other. But, even in just showing each other our artwork, it was obvious we understood certain principles within the artwork. His artwork is incredible, with lots of spirit. Check it out.
