Self Mastery

What is self-mastery? Self-mastery has to do with ridding oneself of doubt, guilt, shame, fear, anger, resentment, jealousy, hatred, judgments, and violence that suppress your authentic self. Self-mastery arises from authenticity. Authenticity naturally arises from self-love and self-respect. Observing your mind and its thoughts, you begin to realize why your life is being created in a particular way. One is either creating from a place of fear or love. This can be challenging since the lower mind has had free reign to think in certain patterns of negation. Love and abundance in all things cannot be created from fear thinking. Even a little bit of fear can be destructive. Authenticity creates success in all areas of your life. Success by itself cannot create authenticity.

When you become sufficiently aware of where your thoughts are taking you, then the next step becomes obvious. Becoming conscious requires doing something with what you become aware of. This is what response-ability is; and no one can tell you what your response-ability is. When one becomes aware of what is not working in their life, then one must become aware of what does work. We are creator beings, which means we are creativity itself, which is what spirituality is, and it is our birthright and ability to create and express authentic self.

Authenticity is priceless and in the expression of Self, as long as you are harming no other person, then that expression is the most precious thing you have; it’s what you are. The materialistic world would have you believe otherwise, but that is simply their delusion of settling for scraps. All of the pain and suffering and lack arise from seeking a sense of self in some external person, place, or thing or obeying others to the exclusion of one’s inner guidance. No person, place or thing has any relevance in your expression of authentic self.

When one expresses the opposite of their authentic being, they begin the process of self-hatred. To not be true to oneself is self-hatred. A small amount of self-hatred is all it takes to destroy self-love and authenticity. To go 9/10th of the way is utter madness. Loving all of your authentic self is the only way to true freedom. Freeing oneself from self-judgment, releases one from judging others. In judging ourselves, we disrespect our authentic self and in doing so we begin the process of disrespecting others. We judge others only because we judge our self. Your power is in your willingness to love and respect your self completely. In claiming your true power, you rid yourself of pain and suffering, and pave the way to create what your heart desires.

A person changes when their pain and suffering is greater than their fear of change. Fear of change has to do with fear of something outside of one’s self. Self-mastery has nothing to do with anything outside your self. When you have mastered your inner self, the world around you will begin to change in accordance with your heart. I am available to assist you in mastering your authentic self. Remember, self-mastery is an ongoing transformational process.
